Want to learn how to play golf? Then this is the perfect class for you to get started. The class focuses on fundamentally building golf swings the right way to help students develop good habits. After focusing on the full swing for the first three weeks of the class, we spend some time learning to chip and putt before taking our skills to the course to end the series.

Cost: $195 per person for series

Class Dates: Tuesday 6-7:30, Friday 12-1:30, Sunday 10:30- noon.

Advanced Beginner

The sequel to the Beginners Series is designed to focus on your entire golf game. Each week we will work on a different aspect of the game including putting, chipping/pitching, and the full swing. In the last class, we will go over course management skills on the course.

*In order to take this class you must have taken part in at least one beginner series in the past.

To sign up – Call the Pro Shop (415) 492-1800 X1

Cost: $195 per person for series

Class Dates: Wednesday 6-7:30pm.

Want to learn how to play golf by actually playing the game on the course? Operation 36 classes offer a different path to learning the game by focusing on breaking a score of 36 for 9 holes from designated distances.

For example division one is from 25 yards, division two is from 50 yards, division 3 is from 75 yards and so forth. We offer seasonal classes for men, women, and juniors. There will also be 4 competitive Match days throughout each season. Get started by downloading the Op36 app today!

One Month Class

(Sept, Oct, Nov) includes two teaching sessions and 2 match days – $249

BONUS: Those who sign up for the ONE Month class offering will also get a range key to use for the month!

Adult Junior Tournament (9 Holes)

Shotgun Start @ 9 am Saturday September 7th

  • Scramble Format
  • $75 per team, includes lunch, and tee prize
  • 10 and under play from Red Tees (Ladies can play from the red tees if they choose to do so)
  • 11-13 year old division play from the White Tees
  • 14-17 year old Division play from the blue Tees
  • All Adults play from blues
  • Rules: must use at least two tee shots from each team member within the 9 hole round, as well as one shot per hole per team member 
  • Awards for 1st place in each division
  • LIMITED TO THE FIRST 24 TEAMS

The Birdie Bunch is BACK!

Hello, Ladies!

McInnis Park Golf Academy is introducing a Birdie Bunch class that features Operation 36. Classes will go over instruction based on how to break the score of 36 for 9 holes. Chipping and putting will be the main focus to start since everyone starts from division 1 (25 yards out from each hole).

Once you break the score of 36, the player graduates to division 2 (50 yards out from each hole). These rounds will be completed as matches where all ladies will keep score. Scores will be posted in the operation 36 app on your phone which is where you can also track your progress once you’ve created a profile. 

Sessions:

Please note if you do not want to participate in the matches and would just like to participate in the classes, that can be an option too.

Yes, it’s true! The Op36 classes have ARRIVED…

JUNIORS OP36 PROGRAM

McInnis Park Golf Academy has implemented a brand new development program called Operation 36 Juniors. Each Tuesday juniors will meet with their coaches to work on their games through drills and games. Through these coaching sessions we have Juniors focus on breaking a 9 hole score of 36 from 25 yards away where all juniors will start. They will attempt this on their designated match days which will be on selected Wednesdays in each season. Once the goal is achieved the junior will graduate to division 2 where they will play from 50 yards (division 3 is 75 yards etc).

As Juniors progress they can monitor their progress on the Op 36 app. Within the app they can post scores, organize practice sessions, and receive helpful tips on how to improve. It is such a good way to learn how to play golf the right way! Sign up your junior today!

SWING THE CIRCLE JUNIOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

*BEGINS SATURDAY, JUNE 1*

When: Every Saturday – 10am-11:15 OR 12pm-1:15

The Swing the Circle Program will focus on continued development of each junior. Tracking their progress and knowledge using assessment games that we will hold once a month is one of the many tools that will help show your junior that their hard work is paying off. The focus of each class will vary based on the needs of the students, all aspects of the game will be covered in this Program.

SUMMER PROGRAMS:

SUMMER JUNIOR CAMP

Summer camp will be every week Monday–Friday starting June 10th-June 14th, 9am–Noon. The last week of camp will be August 12th-August 16th.

Summer camp engages juniors in the game of golf with games like AirGolf, SNAG, Virtual Golf and Mini Golf. They receive top notch instruction from highly trained golf professionals at our premiere practice facility as well as on the course on the last day of camp. A daily snack will be provided to keep the campers fueled for a fun week of golf!

SUMMER JUNIOR GOLF SCHOOL

We also offer Junior Golf School in the Summer!

Summer Junior Golf school Will be held on select weeks. Monday–Friday. The first one Starts June 17th and the golf school runs from 9am-3pm each day. Please see Golf School Schedule for the select weeks.

The junior golf school will include everything mentioned in the Summer Camp, but includes more instruction out on the golf course. To sign up for the golf school, we highly recommend that junior golfers are able to handle multiple 9 Hole rounds within the week.
